Sudler Silver Scroll Award

The First Coast Wind Symphony is the 2023 recipient of the John Philip Sousa Foundation Sudler Silver Scroll Award! This honor is considered "North America's Most Prestigious Award for Community Bands," and places us among the top community bands in the U.S.

The purpose of this recognition is "To identify, recognize and honor a community band which has demonstrated particularly high standards of excellence in music presentation, and has played a significant and leading role in the cultural and musical environment in their respective community." We are proud to represent Jacksonville as one of the finest community bands in the U.S.

The First Coast Wind Symphony was also a winner of the 2023 American Prize in Performance, Celebrating American Excellence in the Arts. We are honored to be recognized for our contributions to the artistic and cultural life of the greater Jacksonville community.
